• Diagnostic:

  • - Oral Exam
  • - Intraoral Camera - allows for early detection of potential dental problems.
  • - X-Rays (Digital X-Rays uses almost no radiation, quicker image for viewing by doctor and patient).

• Oral Cancer Screening

  • (Brush test used in office for suspicious areas)

• Preventative Cleaning:

  • - Hand Scaler - used to get into areas that cannot be reached w/cavitron below the gum line).
  • - Cavitron - machine that vibrates and uses water to remove plaque and buildup above the gum line.
  • - Prophy - paste with fluoride used to polish teeth.

• Composite Fillings

- mercury free restoration with natural tooth appearance.

• Nightguards

- custom made plastic appliance which can be worn on either the upper or lower teeth. To protect teeth from pressure of clenching and grinding by providing a protective cushion, by keeping mouth in a relaxed position which helps relieve pain from TMJ.

• Dentures

- removable prosthetic device used to replace missing teeth.
  • - Partial dentures - removable prosthetic device for patients who are missing some of their teeth on a particular arch. Made from metal or plastic could be done in cosmetic form to eliminate metal hook.
  • - Complete dentures - removable prosthetic device for patients who are missing all their teeth on a single arch.

• Extractions

- the removal of a tooth due to severe tooth decay which destroyed enough tooth structure to prevent restoration and/or due to infection.

- Nitrous oxide (if decided by patient). Done with local anesthesia.

- Bone graft to fill bone defect after extraction is recommended.

• Bridges / Crowns / Inlays


  • - Bridges - permanent custom made restoration to fill the gap created by one or more missing teeth. Usually supported by natural teeth or implant.
  • - Inlays - similar to a filling, laboratory made works as a puzzle piece to fill a tooth/teeth with mild or moderate decay. Usually made from porcelain, composite resin and sometimes even gold.
  • - Crowns - restoration which completely covers a tooth or implant. Crowns are used to improve the strength and appearance of teeth and prevent possible tooth fracture. Made from metal, porcelain and gold.
  • - Cosmetic Crowns - metal free restoration which has a natural appearance, eliminating grayish line at gum line.
